Talked to Jess for a while, formulated a plan to steal this chick I dig away from her boyfriend. I'm calling Mission Improbable. Agent Gash.
Met up with my good friend Kate and her boyfriend, who also goes by the name Chris. We went to Cafe Du Nord to see Hotwire Titans, Young Trade, The Scramblers, and the Black Furies.
Ran into this dude I went to high school with I see at shows. Found out my very first girlfriend got married a few years back. It's strange considering I used to think I'd be the first out of my class to be married. Now, I'm thinking I'll take dead last.
The first time I saw Hotwire Titans, they played with the New Detectives and web page and I didn't really like them all that much.
I saw them again at The Parkside, I think with the Tramps or Harold Ray: Live in Concert...I don't remember. Anyway, they've begun to grow on me. Good shit if your in SF and you want to see a good live act.
I don't care much for the Scramblers. I caught them at the Parkside with the Tramps and wasn't too impressed. It didn't improve tonight.
On the way home, dodged even more drunk drivers. What the fuck? That shit is scary.
now, I'm dead.
Oh yeah, today is not only Groundhog's Day (which means we should all watch the movie), but it's my dead dad's birthday. He would've been 60. We're going to have some cake and eat it too.
