I was touring the town today and it was a smooth day. It was my first time on foot patrol. I got the pleasure of seeing some pretty talented people. A few musicians, dancers and artist. One that really got to me today was a little Indian boy whom was eleven years old. He was blind and you can tell he was not from a...

It has been a LONG week over work. But an over all great week. Again learned a lot and got some new experiences. I've got the great opportunity to work with some of the greatest officers in the state, and hear great rewarding stories.

I've heard that in my line of work and there is not much opportunity for reward; I beg to differ. I...

It has been a while since my last blog still trying to get used to my new schedule and working daily life into it, but I can not complain. I actually like going to work everyday; getting a change to help people out and learn new things. Today stopping by to get some coffee I held open the door for a few people, (which is...

Today's adventure took me on my first day as an officer. Was not a bad day at all. Heard some crazy stories from criminals and did you know that they are ALL innocent? lol at least that is what they think. But it was a great experience and I learn some new things.smilesmilesmile

I am finally an officer of the law. Boot camp was tough, but now the real challenge begins. I can not wait! I am ready to protect the citizens of NJ and all around. Words can not express my deepest appreciation towards my family and friends for the their support and encouragement throughout this process. I could not have been any more blessed. My life...

I know it has been awhile since my last blog! I should have plenty of time to start soon. I have one more week of boot camp and I start my new career. It's been a long 14 weeks. From getting yelled at consistently, 150 to 200 push-ups a day, to getting punched in the face multiple times to getting massed. But it will all...

Getting ready for another LONG week at boot camp! Only six more weeks left and I can not wait.

I started defensive tactics last Friday and will continue this week. I am sore! But I am learning a lot. So far we learned take downs, how to fall correctly without hurting ourselves, and throwing punches correctly. This week will we continue with what we have...

This is my first blog, so I apologize if I am doing this wrong! I am waiting for Hurricane Sandy to hit Jersey and I figured I would blog about my encounters, at least until I'm shut down!

I live in Millville, NJ a population about 20,000. State of emergence was already announced before the storm has even passed the Delaware Bay. With one major...

The craziness in Virginia started Thursday and Friday. Richmond was declared in a State of Emergency Friday. We flood here. Besides a quick power flicker nothing's been too nutty other than people. If people calmed down about these things they wouldn't be half so bad. Get supplies, go home. Wait for the storm to pass, assess the damage, check on loved ones, begin the clean up.

I agree....people always take it out of control. we get a lot of rain but lucky I live above sea level, but I have to deal with a lot of trees falling down. But I'm ready for it, and give me a chance to actually have a peaceful moment. Take out some of the old books, read and relax!
