Got an email from my Dad from N.C., with the results of my grandpa's lung biopsy.
BENIGN!!!
So what the doctors thought was lung cancer is something else... He's going to need oxygen 24/7, so that's going to be annoying, but at least it's not cancer! More tests are in progress, but I'm just so incredibly happy it's not what they first told us. Now I know why my Dad told my sister and not me, he didn't want me to freak until they knew for sure.
I just got in, (1:20 am) from hanging out with my bowling buddies. Bowling, accompanied by 6 fingers of Bushmills, followed by a trip to the theater to watch "The Descent" got me in a pretty good mood. A good jumpy horror movie with friends... Haven't done that in years. Then I get home to an email with terrific news!
