I am now officially deaf.
Green Day kicked so much ass I now have a fleshy concavity under the small of my back, as I'm completely assless. They did the entire American Idiot album in order, then came back for a whole 'nother concert's worth of songs. Including some Ramones and Clash covers... Such amazing energy! They played for at least 3 hours... So long that a lot of folks missed the last of the BART trains and had to converge on each other looking for rides to the East Bay. People on this site can say whatever the hell they want about Green Day, that was one of the best shows I've seen in my life. Of course it was extra fun that it was in such a small venue as the Warfield. I go there all the time, and I've NEVER seen that place as wild as last night!
Off to bed to collapse...

The only reason Jerry got into it at all is that I was giving mom a hard time. He won't have it. He wasn't around all the years to see how mom acted and still acts towards me and dad. He moved to Tx when I was 9 or so. I've just in the last 5 yrs really started standing up for myself to her or at least commenting on what she says to me. I try to remember that mom is old and I'll miss her when she's gone ... but shit!! She didn't need to pick out my daddy's recliner. DOH.

I think it all started going downhill right after my birth and dad filled out the birth cert. I had no idea he named me until I was 8ish. At 8ish I said I was tired of J and wanted to be named Sydney. Mom said, "Well, your name should be Glenna JoAnne, but your father filled out the cert, then he called everyone and told them J was born." I said to dad, "
