I'm gonna drive up to your place around 1:30/2pm. So yes. My flight isn't till 11:30pm. You'll be sick of me by the time we have to go to the airports.
It's so unbelievably nice to talk to someone so far away and hear their voice and have it feel like everything is normal. But then there's the saying goodbye, and the not knowing when you'll be able to talk again. Ouch.

Well, if my experiences were anything like what he's got right now, there will be something closer to a routine when everyone gets all situated in wherever his final destination is.
When I was in Germany, Qatar, and Balad, I couldn't really get in touch with home. Once I settled in in Radwaniyah, I was good.

What's worse than your boyfriend leaving on your anniversary? Two days thinking that he might not be leaving till February... and then finding out that no, in fact, he still has to leave on your anniversary. I didn't think it was possible to make this worse.
