Also, I saw the coolest graffiti ever on the way to work (on Speer and Colfax):
So, our new assistant manager is serious suck. Like, sleeping in his car for 2 hours while opening kind of suck. So Amanda and I have been working crazy amounts, and the other night I said I'd close dish for her since the night before I'd gotten off at 8:30 and her closing had been hellish. I get to work, and this conversation occurs:
Kate (shift manager): So Thomas said you're closing tonight?
Me: Oh... well, yeah. I'm closing dish for Amanda. Did she tell him that? We just decided that last night.
Kate: What? He said you were closing the front. For Azucena. He said he talked to you about it.
Me: ...what?
Yep. He had apparently told Azucena that she didn't have to close. When Kate asked him later what he was thinking, he'd apparently been like, "Oh... um... actually, Thisbe said she'd close! Yeah!"
Really? Seriously? WHO THINKS THAT IS A GOOD IDEA?
