forget tuffy, my life is more important.
if you saw my journal yesterday, i was right. something is wrong with me.
i had to go to the hospital last night! in manhattan! scary!
i am all kinds of dehydrated and infected.
among many other things that are wrong with my quickly failing body, i had chills during the 90+ degree weather during the day yesterday. then i kept getting hotter and hotter last night. i started taking my temp and it went from 100 to 102.4 in an hour, so my friend who JUST got off the plane from san diego made me go to the ER.
now i'm home, with three infections, most noteably a kidney infection and i have cipro...anthrax medicine. all this came after: "you're pregnant, you have an std, you have kindey stones, i'm inserting a catheter". hell to the no on all counts!
also - the hospital literally forgot about me for an hour while my fever was reaching blindness-inducing levels. they even admitted it. and i hate them. and a letter will be written.

a breeding ground for death i think. wonderful city -- just physically demanding. take care of yourself. rent some movies, grab a book, put your feet up and get better.
i swear catheters and rectal thermometers are an inside joke amongst doctors to fuck with patients...
i seem to know a lot of people with kidney infections lately.
perhaps it is an epidemic.
