apparently i slept through my first los angeles earthquake yesterday.

but i did see mr and mrs smith (at the arclight!), which, if nothing else, is a good excuse to stare at brad pitt and angelina jolie for 2 hours. nothing wrong with that.

i'm at LAX. my flight is 2.5 hours late at this point. when i flew out here, my tv was (i assume) the only one on the plane that didn't receive the satellite signal. if that happens again, i will off myself.

i've come to terms with the fact that i'm not very good at describing why i like what i like. so this weekend, i came up with an explanation-less list of 37 unique (ie no two types of food) things i like that i'd never before mentioned. i was thinking of things throughout the weekend, so it was a 3 day ongoing project until i did some apple-Q action and killed everything. anyway, here are some vacation-related things i like, sans explanation:

+lemony snicket
+hannah and her sisters
+breakfast, which i usually don't manage to feed myself
+bee. everyone loves bee! and when everyone loves someone, there's usually good reason. roger that.
+digdug, because friends help you move, but real friends move you across LA traffic and deal with your menses paraphernalia needs.
+homemade steak tacos
+stanford blatch! i saw him at a market early in the morning a few days ago. i couldn't help but smile at him. who doesn't smile when they see stanfod blatch?
