Had a going away party for a friend of ours, "The Mar." Marah is a cool girl who is heading up to Baltimore this week for another post-grad thing up at Johns Hopkins. (I can't recall if this is her second or third) But I ended up doing some heavy-ass yard work in the back yesterday afternoon, clearing out the overgrown jungle and turning the back yard into something hospitable. It was incredibly cool onceit was all done. Much better than anything I had hoped for when I started. Candles all over the yard, chairs for folks to sit and I made three fire-pits to light up the corners of the yard... it was a pretty rad scene I think. I also grilled up some Brauts 
and those were fucking GOOD! 50 beers, a bottle of gin and a bottle of Vodka... 8 people, lots of music, privacy, lots of fire and the full understanding that every one of us could sleep in the morning after made for a great evening.
