Today marks the eighth day of the NHL playoffs. I have averaged 6 hours of NHL hockey a day over this period and have discovered something.
As long as I can watch playoff hockey, I don't need sleep.
It's like rest for me or something. Ordinarily, going to sleep around 1am every night and waking up at 6am would get old by the middle of the week and I'd be yawning or making financial errors at work after a few days of it. That is not the case right now though and I'm very interested in this idea. Perhaps it's the trick to perpetual youth... forget the mystical fountains, forget that "all you need is love" jazz... All we need is playoff hockey.
I'm better by the way... thanks to all concerned parties, Kurtz included =)
peace,
Steve
