so i decided to take a little R and R today. the place was an absolute ghost town, the weather blew, and i was still a little tipsy when i woke up this morning. so i came home at lunch after stopping at blockbuster, threw on windpants and the SG hoodie and am lounging it for the remainder of the day.
last night one of my best friends, chris, was in from denver for the night before heading to charleston with his girl for a wedding. not his. so we took a mini-crew over to the fairview grill. it was my first time at the new location. it was crazy, they moved the whole bar into a new place and it looks EXACTLY the same. we shot some pool and drank some beers. then they started the karaoke. guh. my buddy matt and i took the stage for "bust a move." it rocked.
you add last night onto two straight nights of VB and i am bushed. it was cool though, because tuesday night, matt and i had a little heart to heart about the problems with my game. so wednesday i hit the court with a different attitude and tried playing a little smarter. i forgot how much fun the sport is. usually i am so pissed at myself for a little mistake or a bad pass that didn't even matter. just gotta let it go. let it all hang out so to speak.
i hate cliches. but isn't everything cliche anymore? eh, who fucking cares.

Sorry about the date. I remember once having what I thought was a really great date with this guy. At the end of the night he tells me "Yeah, I'm going to go meet up with some friends now"
