thank god the end of the work week. i am plum tuckered. i haven't been sleeping again and it is killing me. looks like i am going to have to get some more drugs from the pharmacy for that shit. tuesday night it was the latest thing since crack, Mle and her web cam antics. up until the butt crack of dawn with that.
wednesday i played volleyball. i was super sub for the night. i played three straight matches. that is nine games in a little over three hours. and none of them were a cake walk. but with the teams i played with, it was a 7-2 record for the night. gold star for jared.
then last night it was yet another vendor wanting to meet for post work brews. jet from the office at 5 and spent the next four hours swallowing yeungling at vinnie's south end. didn't hurt that our waitress was one of those petite little girls with double D boobs crammed into a tank top. she has to have back problems. and yes, i also noticed she had beautiful eyes and a great smile. i am not all kiddie pool style shallow.
today i just pissed around all day. with the passing of mitch hedberg, i found myself reading a ton of his quotes from stand up and shit. "i do not have a girlfriend, but i know a girl who is going to be very upset with the fact that i said that." that one hits home a little from time to time.
i have been seeign something lately that i think is a little disturbing, but i am not sure. (seinfeldian overtones to follow) what is up with people putting "in loving memory of..." stickers on the back window of their cars? did they buy that car with inheritance money? do they plan on keeping that car the rest of their lives so they never forget? is the body of the person actually in the trunk as a moving tribute? it just kinda creeps me out a little.
F it. looking forward to a good weekend. probably do the uptown thing tomorrow night. connolly's, ri-ra's, etc. maybe run into some more people?
