so, i just went through one of the most intense rollercoaster rides of life in the last two weeks. it started with coming to the end with the girl i was seeing. i told her the next time was going to be the last time. so there was a next time. i could no longer take the ups and downs, so i cut my losses. difficult since i jumped into it headlong from the start and by the time she was there i had already checked out.
then i got a call for a job interview. my third interview in two years. i promptly shaved my beard and knocked it out of the park.
then came super bowl sunday. my glorious steelers taking the field and i had 75 wings ordered and two cases of beer on ice for me and a couple of buddies. but then i got the phone call.
my grandmother's body finally called it quits and she passed. she was gone two years ago when alzheimer's took over. after circulation issues, an amputation, pnuemonia and congestive heart failure, her body had enough. RIP.
so i composed myself to go meet friends for a pre super bowl game of flag football. where i proceeded to receieve a grade 3 concussion after colliding with another guy. next thing i know i am reliving my grandmothers death and my break up every 20 minutes. i don't remember the cat scan, but my memory picked up just in time for the spinal tap.
two days later, i get out of the hospital (which i don't have ANY insurance to pay for), and i find out i got the job. what job? oh yeah.
but the meds for a sinus infection and my lingering concussion stuff keep me from driving to PA for my grandmothers funeral. seriously upsetting.
started the new job though. first time in an office in two years. life is crazy...
