well, we wrapped up our third year for Beards BeCAUSE on December 5th. we had kick ass bands with the high octane honky tonk of local favorites, the Truckstop Preachers as well as sick bluesy motown stylings of the the Legendary JC's out of Orlando, FL. our silent auction kicked ass and included in about $2500 in chair time at Fu's Custom Tattoo. all said and done, we raised $42,332 to help fund the fight against domestic violence. that makes over $110,000 in our first three years. not bad for an idea my buddy and i scribbled down on a napkin at a bar to do a beard growing competition... look for us in a town near you next year!
