My god, people make me sick. It really is amazing that 80% of our population has actually made it into adulthood. I wonder if Darwin ever thought that there was something strange about the idea that his theory of evolution applied to every species on this planet except for us. I wonder if I am the only person on the planet who thinks that convenience can be a bad thing. We've worked so hard to make life easier for ourselves that we have eliminated the adversity that weeds out the weaker links in our species. I don't think anyone alive today realizes how easy we have it compared to previous generations. The only evidence that I can see is the existance of such a great number of morons. The reason is that I know that is because if life was the way it used to be, they would all be dead. We work so hard to try to create good systems of health care, welfare programs, and, hell, the entire customer service industry, which sees to it that no one will ever have to worry about knowing how to do anything for themselves. Thus, the morons of the world not only survive, but flourish! And what's worse, they're breeding! WTF?
