Listening in on a conversation between some of my coworkers. These people are pro-Trump all the way. They are most likely QAnon folks as well. They like Alex Jones and Michael Savage. They're the type who view any sort of social justice movements as frivolous at best or as terrorist groups at worst. Seriously, I am grateful I don't work on the same shift as these people because I don't think I could take 8 hours a day of their bullshit conspiracy nonsense.
They firmly believe that Google and Microsoft are out to get us, that smart devices are listening in on everything, and that the pandemic is a hoax meant to undermine Trump; who's only flaw, as far as they are concerned, is that he's too mean.
Fine, whatever. I think they're nuts and they'd probably think the same about me of they knew what sort of beliefs I adhered to. If you ask me, just about everyone is guilty of this sort of herd mentality. It's only getting worse and it's part of why I have lost faith in everything at this point. I'm just sick of everything and everyone so, I'm mostly just pissing and moaning here, while low-key judging others.
However, this is what really caught my attention, during the conversation between my coworkers. Somehow, Bill Gates came up and of course there wasn't anything positive to be said about him. The criticism of Gates culminated with one of the guys saying he'd rather see Putin be our President instead of Gates.
First of all, I didn't know Gates was running for office. He's not, but since he's clearly trying to force us all into an electronic tracking system, he must have his eye on the White House too, right?
Second, really, Putin as our President? The man who obviously has his opponents killed or disappeared on a regular basis is a who you want? The man who allegedly has put a bounty on American troops is the best choice for America?
Jesus Fucking Christ.
I really just don't understand what the hell is wrong with people.
