i've been on a serious MF DOOM kick lately.
it started about 2 weeks ago, when i became re-obsessed with Operation: Doomsday, for about the 6th time.
the following week(s) it was Madvillain. G-d, how i love that album. The whole thing plays though like a mini-symphony. With each listen it becomes more and more fascinating.
i had been avoiding his new release, the DangerDoom project w/ Dangermouse. earlier in the summer i got my hands on a bootleg, and wasn't immediately impressed. i randomly gave it another courtesy spin last week, just for kicks.... turns out, its incredible.

it IS incredible. i'm kinda glad the hoopla had kinda died down by the time it came out for reals tho.
