Okay, My first Journal Entry...
For the past two and a half years I've been a theatre major at Emproia State University (a small college you've probably never heard of) Theatre is pretty much my life. I believe all the questions in life can be answered through theatre. My favorite show ever is "Bat Boy the Musical" It's just amazing. If you haven't seen or heard of it, even if you're not into theatre, you need to see it. I promise you won't be dissappointed.
I recently got engaged to my soul mate Samantha. (who's also a theatre major) We're planning on moving to New York after we Graduate. Yeah, my life pretty much rules! Well, it did.
I couldn't afford college my self, so when I was 17 I joined the army reserves to help pay for school. And wouldn't you know it, last november I was called up to come fight this stupid war. I'm stationed in kuwait so I'm not really fighting, I actually work in the Finance section, but it still sucks, cause I'm gone from everything I love. And I won't be home till next Feb. The upside is when I get home, I'll have less than a year left of my military contract! I can't wait! But for now, I'll just have to stick it out. One of my old professors told me that while I'm here I should try to drink in and absorb as much of this experience as I can because it will give me a prespective of life that most undergrads don't have. And that it will only make me a better artist. So when I'm feeling down just think about that.
That has to be the single greatest piece of advice I've ever gotten. Thanks H.P. Well Suicide Girls, keep doin what you're doin' And I'll be home before I know it!
