I am going to meet a band tonight for a meet and greet kind of thing. The guys I have been talking to all seem cool.
I would say the music is along the same lines as The Cult. They are compared to some other bands but I don't have the background in that type of music to know who they are.
I have been searching on the net and found album reviews from sites in the UK. One of the reviews said that they wished the band would tour outside of the NW.
I am nervous on several levels. a) Am I good enough for them?
b)Is their music good enough for me? c) Will I get along with them?
The last one is more important than the first two combined.
The last thing I want is to be in a band that does not have fun and get along with each other. My last band got along but there was plenty of times when I felt like I was getting the short end of the stick because I was the "new guy".
UPDATE. Item C. Check. Me and the Bass player got drunk together last night.
This is another one of the tattoos from the missing artist. I hope I find him.

Thanks. You look like the sort of person who doesn't get bothered by the occasional flipping off. But if I have offended your delicate sensibilities, I have a wahwy-pop here to make it all better.

Musicians are a rare and strange breed. I know, I live with one, and manage/publicize the band (well, I try). I'm glad you hit it off with the bass player and had a good time. You play drums, right? Is that what you would be doing with this band?
