It is raining here in Asheville and what better evening to see a play? A play right next to the convenient parking of the civic center parking deck. A play about America. A play with the ghost of Burroughs and Whitman lurking in the lines. A play I recommend having seen it last night. You could go see it tonight. Or on another night of its run.
Perhaps you only go to plays that have people you know cast? That is fine. You know Joel Herring? Elizabeth Guthrie? Cyrus Lastname? Go see them as each does a fabulous job. And keep an eye on the bum. Awesome work from the gentleman named Mike. And a few brief glimpses of the incomparable Ryan Madden.
I recommend seeing this. A good date play if you aren't currently fighting. But if you miss it, you miss a little part of life. opportunity costs are a bitch eh?
