Update! (Now would be a good time to cue some news music in your head... Any show will due, I'm not picky...)
Ok, now fade out.... perfect!)
Happy belated Halloween! Well, as some of you know, my Halloween plans where sort of ruined by my unexpecteced extended stay in Phoenix. But, I bounced back... sort of. Since my costume was in LA, I went to a thrift store, searching for a replacement. I ended up coming across a UPS shirt, which was even better than the Emery one I'd left at home. So then I bought a brown UPSish hat, and headed home. I found a good box, labled it "Human Transplant Organs", then beat the crap out of it. The problem was the blood. I couldn't find fake blood anywhere. Which probably has a lot to do with the fact that it was the day before Halloween. So, I ended up making my own blood, courtesy of Bruce Campbell's "If Chins Could Talk". I didn't have any blue food coloring, though. So when I finished, it looked way to red. I ended up adding molases to thicken/darken it. It came out perfect. And thank god the bugs aren't out this time of year.
I watched 'Halloween' in the afternoon, and I started off the night by handing out candy to the kiddies, then some Trick-or-treating with my brother. I think we hit up about 5 houses. After that, we went to the theatre and saw The Grudge'. I wanted to see 'Saw' as well, but alas, scheduling did not permit me. So when I got home, I decided to make it a Sam Raimi night, and we watched 'Evil Dead'. Then we caught the ATHF marathon. After Zach crashed out, I watched 'Evil Dead 2' and 'Army of Darkness'. I've come to the conclusion that 5 movies and a cartoon marathon is a bit to much for one day. But, it wasn't a bad Halloween. I'm sure the Sunset Strip probably sucked anyway. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
Well, that was a boring entry. Oh, but I figured out what I'm going as next year. I'm pretty much just going to cover my arms/shirt/head with blood. A SHITLOAD of blood. I'll be carring a razor, and I'll have about a half inch scratch on my face, with a dab of toilet paper on it. Whadya think? I probably shouldn't use the molases mixture for that one.
Alright, now what did you guys n gals do for Halloween?
