so yeah... it's tuesday and I'm still getting dizzy spells when I'm walking around.
Sunday I saw Syriana with Mike, and I almost feinted on the way from the movie to the car. Then I've tried to walk to work for the past 2 days and have been overcome by dizzy spells and lots of shortness of breath while I try and get there, so I've called in sick for the past 2 days...
I hate calling in sick. It makes me feel so stupid knowing that I can't even perform the job I was appointed to... so it's off to the doctor today.
I called my dad, and am now waiting for my step-mom to call me back, as she's an optometrist and has been through medical school. She'd probably have a better idea on who I need to see in order to get this little problem taken care of. I just hope it's nothing serious, and a pill will make it all go away or something. I can't imagine what will happen if I can't go to work for the next few weeks, as I NEED that money to pay for moving... and you know... eating.
although I can't eat much nowadays as even just a small amount will make me feel like throwing up.
so yeah. anyway.
Syriana was awesomesauce... so go see it, although it was a little hard to follow as there is SO much information being thrown at you in such a short period of time. I ended up having to explain the half of the movie I did understand to my friend, who was high at the time of the screening and didn't understand ANY of it.
definitely a movie that warrants a repeat viewing.
Other than that I read You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggars. A fantastic book which has made me fall utterly and deeply in love with it's author. I'm currently tracking down every other piece of literature the man has ever written, edited, or has someway contributed to in the past decade.
"Throw your head to the world. Know valor, act with glory."
that line still gives me the hibbly-jibbleys every time I read it.
I've also taken to playing Animal Crossing: The Wild World on my newly acquired DS. Although I can't play online... because I don't have a wireless connection. Boo.
Alright peoples... I'm off like a highschool girl's prom dress.
