my christmas started out pretty interesting. it was 3 am and i was sound asleep. my parents bust in my room screaming at each other about who needs who and how one would be better off without the other all the while stumbling around in a drunken stupor knocking my things down. after 10 minutes they calmed down and left my room and settled into the kitchen. 2 minutes later they started again but i just decided to go to sleep. i figured they'd just run out of steam. the part that scared me was when a heard the door slam shut and a car start. thankfully, it was just the next door neighbor. as you can imagine the rest of the day was, for lack of a better word, awkward.
