1) Tell us a joke.
So, there were were, on the surface an unknown planet, lost. But Harry, he starts feeling around on all the trees, and he says "I know where we are, we on Pluto." So we say, "Harry, how can you tell?" "The bark you dummies, the bark...."
Now that we broke the ice, let's get to know you for round two in the questionnaire craze. (If you haven't taken the first one by now you can easily find it on many model and member pages or ask xHeartSwornx politely.)
2) Fur babies or human babies? Tell us a little about all the children that drive your crazy or fill your arms with love. (Including any with scales, feathers, or more than 4 limbs/legs)
There are no biological offspring, but I have a step-daughter that I love and admire. I've known her since she was six, and I think I have helped to bring her to the darkside of geek-comic-game goodness. She's an amazing artist, primarily an illustrator, but with all sorts of skills in animation and editing.
3) You have many secret and not-so-secret admirers as a member/hopeful/photographer/SG in this community, but do you have any secret crushes that tickle your heart? [No names, this is about secret crushes!]
Yes, I actually do, and it kinda tears me up that I do. My last 'crush' turned out to be mutual and it wrecked my life, in both good and bad ways. But left me very, very, very skittish about the whole thing, and were it to turn out that it was mutual, I don't know if I could handle that.
4) What is your favorite hairstyle/color that you have had so far? Worst hairstyle? [If you have any photos feel free to share.]
The worst, probably the rat-tail that I sported in the late 80's, it was in, but it really shouldn't have been. =) At the moment, I rather like my longer hair, it's the longest it's ever been, and taming it is sometimes a matter of letting it do it's own thing. I am still learning what I can do with it... just the other day I found out about 'half-up' and that made me feel all sorts of cool.
5) I'm standing outside your window with a radio above my head right now just like John Cusack in "Say Anything". What song would I be playing to win your heart?
You are outside my window, you know my soft spot for the 80's, and Peter Gabriel, so I won't make you go too far off, just have it be "Solsbury Hill" and I'll follow you home.
6) Favorite decade of fashion that you would love to follow if the styles were readily available at all the local shops?
I'm going with the 20's-30's, I love that style, and it was the last period that I can remember where we had pants that would fit my high waist...
7) One magical concert ticket landed in your hands. It grants the holder the ability to see any band (and openers) at any venue across time. Which band/tour would you choose to see? When and where did this legendary concert take place?
Put me in the audience at Fillmore East for the Allmans, please, please, please...
8) Name one talent that you do not have and wish you did?
Being able to really speak German. =)
9) Shootfest question: Name one very memorable event/talent/conversation that changed the world as you know it and who is to praise/blame for your new addiction, train of thought, or newfound skill? (Models/photographers only.)
Not applicable.
10) Theoretically, SG is offering up an all expenses paid SG tour in LA that includes a non-romantic "date" with your chosen photographer to interview, hang out with at the beach, and attend an exclusive shoot featuring
them. Who would it be? (Members only, hopefuls can answer, too)
@caustix The pallet, those colors, would love to just hang out.
11) Favorite tea, coffee, beer, and/or wine?
Or? Tea, I love a good green or a white, I still remember the white tea I had in NYC at a little place that I made my friends find. Coffee, depends if it's an espresso or a long, but I do a Costa Rican Terrazu here at home for 'normal' coffee. Beer, I love me a red beer, and I happen to have a few bottles of one of my favorites, Schanzenbräu in the fridge right now. But that's just one, we can talk for a while about beers. Wines... take me to Spain, take me to Portugal, I will drink for months and never get thirsty. Any takers?
12) Cuddles: strictly for lovers or are close friends an option?
I have, perhaps an odd thing about physical contact, it takes me a while to be okay with it, and it's really intimate to me. Not like sexual intimate, but it is something that is very important, so while I love to, I don't feel comfortable with a lot of people, but I'd like to...
13) Most ticklish spot we should avoid when offering a massage?
The front of my hip, it's painful ticklish. But do not avoid it, in fact, dig in there, I've so much tension in that joint, that's why it's so ticklish. One of the things I'd learned in massage school was ticklishness can be an indicator of muscle tension, body protecting something that is on the verge of cramping.
14) Reveal something nerdy. It could be current gaming PC specs, your favorite guitar/amp setup, something about your most used camera. Blow our minds with the technical specifications in regards to a talent or hobby you excel at. Favorite spay paints for graffiti or a semi-secret recipe that wins friend's hearts. Give us the nerdy low down from an expert so we can Google and understand it!
I have over one-hundred board games and not one rondel game in that collection (not because I don't want one, just haven't yet).
15) Recently, there was a homework assignment asking about a favorite compliment given or received. Take a moment to give a compliment to someone of your choice through DM, Whatsapp, post on their page, or any other method that is not directly public through this question. [This is meant to be between friends or someone that touched you emotionally recently.]
Will do.
16) Today sucked. You just want to sit at home alone with a pizza, beer (or your choice of beverage), and Netflix to de-stress. What toppings do you choose on the pizza and what movies/shows will you binge?
One with peppers, onions, jalapenos, and pepperoni, and another with spinach and feta. I think it's a Blues Brothers night, with maybe a Princess Bride chaser.
17) What "old" song do you still love today that remains relevant to your life? [It could be as simple as Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" or something more politically charged like Dead Kennedy's "Police Truck". All genres and decades open.]
Cyndi is actually really close to my heart and "Time After Time" touches my soul every damn time I hear it.
18) Recommend one book (and the author) that changed your life. [This is for any avid readers that want to expand their minds]
Julian Jaynes "The Origins of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind" Not because it is proven, but in how it can make you think and question.
19) You're driving far away from home to get away on holiday, but you become lost. Google maps doesn't work. There are no phone signals. You'll probably be lucky and find your way on track soon, but who would you want riding co-pilot to maintain your sanity and cheer you up while traveling these seemingly endless roads?
I'll take @chef if she's available.
20) Let's end this with something simple. Name one thing you collect.
Games (of all types)
@xheartswornx There you go, brother! =)

@xheartswornx =) I love that joke. And if you can't find Jaynes somewhere, let me know, I'll send you my copy.

Good choice of concert. I saw them about a month after Dwayne passed, they still Rocked the House.
