Well today I finally spent my birthday money (really most get round to those thank you letters). I brought Public Enemy Greatest Hits which is growing on me very quickly. I'm usually very fussy about my Hip Hop the only other hip hop albums I own r by Buck 65 and Cypress Hill. I also got The latest White Stripes album (first impressions r that its good but not as good as Elephant). The other albums where Amen: Death Before Musick (well you can't go wrong with a bit of Amen), Gallon Drunk: You, The Night...And The Music (I think this could b the start of a beautiful relationship) and lastly Lou Reed: Metal Machine Music (God knows what to make of this, it is either genius or shite, I'll let you know when I make my mind up). I also brought a couple of Graphic Novels, HellBlazer : Red Sepulchre and Transformers: Aspects of Evil and Way of the Warrior. I liked the Hellblazer as John is one of my favourite fictional characters but I haven't read any new stuff for a while. It is quite scary that the transformers stuff actually stands up quite well today.
