Well as you can no doubt see since my last "emotional" journal entry I've had a hair cut, the Murder City Devils shirt I ordered arrived and I brought a huge number of Suicide Squad comics. All these things have made me feel better. Oh and cheers for everyones support and understanding, I've been a bit slack recently on the whole journal commenting/replying thing, but I promise it was appeciated.
Two of my current favourite writers in comics are Brian Michal Bendis (partly for his ability to piss people off just by breathing) and Gail Simone. They are two names that will always make me at least give a book a try. having said that I can't claim to be partitcularly impressed with the 1st issuse of the new Atom series and its not because of Byrne either. I would however highly recommend the current Secret Six mini-series and I hope it gets given a regular book with Gail writing.
Still not getting a lot of beauty sleep (and as you can see from my photo I really need it ).
I have no idea what I want for my birthday. Guess there really is a first time for everything.
I'm going through a post Dr Who funk. I can't wait until Christmas for a fix, I need one NOW.
I've booked Holiday from the 5th August for 2 weeks! What shall I do? If anyone wants to meet up let me know.
Do you have an all time favourite SG? If so who?
The Suicide Squad where never this polite.

Spiderman 3 will cause some kind of geek-paradox, causing all other supherhero movies - past and present - to be sucked into a vortex, never to be seen again. If they show Flint Marko in a stripy green and black shirt I may well implode.
August, then. If you're in the neighbourhood, I should be able to meet up - I'm playing an all day gig on the 5th at this place, if you fancy it?
