I searched for local peeps on this site and figured out there are not a lot of us from this part of Michigan-- or at least not a lot that freely admit to loving the hell out of some hot naked ladies. I did find a few that I know and was greatly pleased.
I just woke up again... at 4 am. I've been really sick the last few days, and I'm damn sure I caught mono from Rusty's cousins because we were sharing food and drinks all during the holidays--- without me knowing they were ill. Great. Just great.
In other really awesome news, Chili's fired me so I never have to go back to that hellhole again, and because of the fact I told them to suck it (they scheduled me a thirty hour week during exams even though they had originally approved the time off-- right) --- I got a 4.0 my first semester of graduate school!!! Which gives me a really good chance of getting in to the PhD program that I applied to. YAY!!
The sale on my grandfather's house closes on the 11th. It's really sad- even worse that all the money from it will allow me to pay for graduate school and take one last European trip. Although I suppose that's what he wanted us to do with it.
New Year's was great-- even though I was sick and designated driving in the middle of a blizzard .
It was just Rusty, Josh, Jakie, Kyle, Jim, and me hanging out at the SJ bars. So, basically, me and the guys, and my mononucleosis, I decided no more resolutions-- very few people end up keeping them, and for the first time all I see is just another day of my life. Just because I have to change the number on the end of the year does not mean that anything about me has changed. I would like to either take a dance or yoga class, and if this mono thing persists I may need to do a cleanse, and I need to find another job- one that does not make me hate my life.
I'm tempted to get my nose re-pierced now that the corporate man isn't hounding me, but what's the point? I JUST got my ears pierced for the very first time two months ago, and those are driving me batshit. I also took my inverse vertical navel piercing out. It saddens me. But hey!-- at least my job cannot tell me what color my hair should be. YAY!!! I may get all crazy with the hairs.
Well, off to snuggle under the electric blanket of awesomeness.

Its odd, you would think with the size of Lansing there would be more people on here.
