I've just been flipping though Ellen Lupton's Thinking With Type, and I've come across something rather disturbing.
I have a disease.
Shit, I had no idea... I mean, I sort of figured something wasn't quite right with me, but I never thought I'd be clinically sick. But there's no denying it, really.
I have typophillia.

defn: typophillia
An excessive attachment to and fascination with the shape of letters, often to the exclusion of other interests and object choices. Typophilliacs usually die penniless and alone.

If anyone feels enough to make a contribution to help end this vicious cycle (penniless and alone! eek!), drop me a line.
Before it's too late.
Or just check this out and maybe become afflicted yourself.
