So there's a massive fire raging a few blocks away. Lots of helicopters in the sky, the air is hazy and smells like burning insulation.
On the bright side, a very cue girl came to the lab today--twice. Hadn't seen her in months, but she remembered my name. I'm all woozy in a good way....

Update: Been home sick for the past few days. Sadly, I don't know if the cute girl ever came back. I rarely get sick, but when I do, it's always bad. Anyone have a spare pancreas laying around that they're not using? I need a new one right about now...
