ugg, what a week........so thursday night was quite fun with the burlesque and afterparty....got to meet a lot of people (and made 2 new sg friends!), watch the star wars holiday special, and get piss-drunk (thanks pouty). friday was spent in bed.....so hung-over that i couldn't even open my eyes until 2 in the afternoon. spent the weekend making pillow-and-blanket forts, watching good movies, and writing a really long email to my boss explaining why i was sick from work (god bless migraines, the all-purpose excuse). on monday i show up to work, hoping like hell that i'd still have a job, only to find out that my boss had been fired on friday. the whole i.t. department here at the college is in chaos, and it looks like it's going to get worse before it gets better. my job seems secure until the end of the semester at least, but after that it's up in the air. might be time for some preemptive job hunting....
in other news, a friend of a friend is dying, my best friend has disappeared, one of my synths stopped working, my kitties broke my record player, i'm out of 9 volt batteries, and i haven't gotten laid in a while.
think i'm going to light up a joint and watch some mr. show. that usually does the trick....
