Sunday 9/4/05
I was at Shampoo night club last night for Dracula's Ball. Best fuckin atmosphere I've ever been to. So many people, dressed Goth, punk, and even Cos-playing as Anime characters (yeah, there was someone there as Vash the Stampede). I went with a group of 3, so I wasn't there alone, and my friend Megan kept me out on the floor all night. Not saying that I can dance, but whatever. It was something I desperately needed. I recommend everyone in the PA/NJ/NY/DE region go to this if you're into the whole Goth thing and have a serious passion about vampires like I do (But I won't be disappointed if you don't. What, with gas prices the way they are and all . . .). I'm definitely going to the next one, which is on Halloween Night. Mark your calanders if you wish to go, and order tickets offline. You get in quicker that way.
I got to see The Last Dance live last night. In-fuckin-credible! I stood maybe 5 feet from the stage, and then the lead singer, Jeff Diehm, jumped into the crowd and was maybe 2 inches from where I was standing.
For the Halloween Ball they got The Cruxshadows to perform live. OMFG! Can't wait! Countin down the days.
Here's a few serious quotes everyone should think about and consider carefully:
"The greatest tragedy of all is love lost
But the greatest virtue belongs to those
who will give everything
to love again..."
"There is always hope,
and the strongest and the bravest
will always keep it close to them
For if you surrender hope,
then love was right to leave you."
Oh well, maybe not totally un-depressed. But still better.
