Well I made it 38 hours without sleep, which is the longest I had ever went without sleep anyway, I was going to go longer just to beat my own personal record, but the site was down for maintanence so I just said to hell with it and went to bed.
In other news it looks like the NYC trip is a go, leave next Friday morning and come back the following Sunday. Long trip to only spend a day but thats what a road trip is all bout. Just getting the hell out of town for a couple days.
Although on the down side My cousin was supposed to bring my new old jeep down next weekend so I will have to call him and maybe do it the following weekend.
The new one is a CJ-5 with a 360 in it, it was used as a mud bogger. It;s got a spring over and 35's on it. It runs fine but it is not street legla in anyway, no lights and a 5gallon gas can bungie corded to the back as the gas tank. I'm going to do waht little bit of wiring I need to get it legal for the road and I have to make a traction bar since it is a spring over, it drives fine but if you stomp the throttle it snaps the drive shaft.
For those keeping count this will make my 3rd Jeep. I have an 89 XJ/Cherokee, a 78 CJ-7, and I am not sure what year this CJ-5 is, early 70's I believe.
Hope everyone has an sweet ass friday.
