It was so long ago I really can't remember how my father ended the madness. Luckily I had a best friend in the neighborhood and stayed away until the coast was clear. Hugs
Zeeman just put this in my journal....
"Then shortly before noon, with Valentino's temperature at 105, his pulse hammering 140 strokes to the minute and his repsiration at 30 to the minute, an official bulletin declared him 'rapidly failing'. Soon afterwards, at 12:10pm, on Monday August 23, 1926, 'with a preist's crucifix pressed to his lips', Rudolph Valentino died 'without pain'
At 12:15pm Joseph Schneck walked slowly down the hospital stairs and read out a brief bulletin signed by three doctors. Rudolph Valentino was dead, at age of thirty-one, of septic pneumonia and septic endocarditis."
