ATHENS, Greece - A 30 year old man forced his eyes out of their sockets to protest his arrest at Athens International Airport, authorities said tuesday.
Remi Tsolakis was taken to a hospital and received surgery to try and restore his eyesight, doctors said.
Tsolakis was arrested late Monday after flying to Athens from the island of Rhodes. Airport authorites discovered he had an outstanding three-month jail sentence for a minor offence.
He told police he did not have enough money to pay a fine in lieu of the sentence and would have to go to jail.
Police gave no details of the offense.
( I think we may have a strong law suit against Warner Brothers here. This man was obviously heavily influenced by the LooneyTune cartoons and the violence that they promote. We should all pull our funds together. So more like him don't have to suffer the same fate. The abuse of the entertainment industry must stop here! Do it for the children.

He didn't die, but I think the guy deserves an honorary Darwin Award, because his dangling eyes will probably keep him out of the gene pool by making it very hard for him to get laid!
