To anyone who might have read my rant regarding the conspiracy against me emenating from the bowels of the SGs Chat Room, I apologizie. Here's what really happened. I've been on anti-depressants for a number of years. Six months ago my doctor prescribed an "off label" medication that showed some promise in treating treatment resistant depression. It appears that I had an adverse reaction to the medication. The official diagnosis was "A Medication Induced Psychotic Episode." In short, I went bat shit crazy and thaught the whole world was conspiring against me. I'm not to proud to admit that I spent five day in a psychiatric unit in a hospital. As to the particulars of my delusion go see topic "The Dark Side of Human Nature" below. To anyone who has experienced a psychotic experience it is fucking scary. I went to hell and back. Fortunately, I've come out the other side a changed man. Suffice to say it was a life altering experience. For better or worse, I'm not sure yet. I'm happy to report that I'm doing much better now although I'm on an extended vacation before I return to work. I'll be writing about my experience including the stay in the hospital over the next several weeks. I write in order to process events in my life.
