Oh my.
Apart from any family drama or giftgiving woes, what the holidays tend to mean is long lost out of town friends returning, and as such, the social calendar has been full & robust.
So tonight there we were: the Lesbian, the Gay Man, The Bi Girl, and the Straight One. A sort of sexual crossection. We started with sushi...moved on to sake...and then decided that more drinking was in order, so we wound up at Bosco's, who, as it turns out, has an excellent top shelf Cosmopolitan.
All night, yes, we were *that* table--the loud, laughing, boisterous, obnoxious group.
I find myself at that table a lot...that loud, hysterically laughing fuck-all attitude of a table. I don't mean to be irritating, I'm just having a good time. Can that be spun into some sort of life metaphor, and if so, what does that say about me?
