Long walk today. Meandered through Ballard for the most part. First time I've walked my new neighborhood since I moved here. Knew the neighborhood fairly well but never really walked it. I always like walking around a place to get comfortable with it. It was realy nice out today too, so that made it a good excuse to walk around.
Was headed in the vague direction of Sonic Boom Records and decided to head into old town Ballard towards Marvin's Garden little park. Ballard Sunday market was up and running so I hung out and peeked at all the boths while I was there. Had lunch at a pizza place that I didn't even know existed. Pretty good pizza, standard for what you'd expect for by the slice but really good crust. I'll be eating there in the future.
Walked over towards the locks along market for a bit too. Found out that the local VFW post is precariously close to the liquor store. Go figure.
Then wandered home through the side streets. A good walk, all in all. Lots of time to think and to breath some fresh air. Which, of course, means I'm all stuffed up from pollens. Lol. : )
