So, I think I have the car thing all taken care of. It turns out the only reason they needed my Oregon ID was so that I wouldn't have to pay sales tax since I bought the car in Vancouver (they need 2 pieces of ID for proof of residency). I called the finance girl today, and she told me that if I had a... Read More
I haven't heard anything from the dealership. I am not sweating it, cause I can only do so much and if I have to give it back then that is what happens. I love the car and I can't wait until I feel comfortable driving it...but, whatever happens, happens.
This morning I checked my bank account fully expecting it to be overdrawn because I was... Read More
Wow sounds like a long eventful day. Isn't it always nice to find extra money you forgot you had. I hope everything works out with the dealership, you should prably try to get doen the things they asked for whenever you have time, /shrug if they aren;t TAHT much of a pain, so that they can;t bug you sometime later.
okay, so the dealership called me and wants me to bring in my Oregon driver's license. Problem is, I never got one...I didn't think I would be driving so I didn't see the point. When i got the car they told me it might be a problem, but they let my sign all the paperwork and go home with the car so I figured it... Read More
well... most of this I understand but what I don't understand is why it has to be a Oregon Drivers License? Perhaps it has to be Oregon because you have to prove residence otherwise they are required to have you pay sales tax on the vehicle for your state..
in the end though perhaps you should give it back if you cannot drive a stick and have not been happy with it. I wonder if giving a car back this soon still nicks your credit report? Never knew anyone who gave one back so quickly so cannot even guess...
Sooooo, I am still trying to get the hang of driving my car. I still haven't felt comfortable enough to take it out on the busy street. I am okay once I start driving, but getting it from a stop to 1st is giving me a lot of trouble. Also, hills....hills are bitches. I am really having a difficult time getting used to using two... Hey thanks. It's a 2006 silver tacoma, I really like it. Don;t worry you'll get used to stick, it just takes away but then it is second nature, and first gear is always a bitch to learn. Well Hopefully by now you are getting the hang of it. Talk to you later.

Blah. It is hot here and we have no a/c and we don't have any extra $$ to buy one in time for the up comming heat wave....105 this weekend! I know that I should be used to this weather, and it really isn't that bad...but, without a/c it is pretty damned uncomfortable. I will be at work most of the time, but sleeping in... Read More
Hehe... Fall is my favorite time of year to. Funny I like being alone most of the time but do not like being lonely... I can complete sympathize.
The no AC thing is a killer. Especially when it is like this. Sheesh. Last year I had AC and there was not a single day over 100 degree's. This year new house, no AC and we have like 5 days over 100 so far. God!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
I think AC might be on the agenda but not till next year. This year I gots to suffer. Put that together with my bedroom being on the second floor and not having any blinds in the house yet and it can be pretty damn toasty in here. Oh well.
Omigosh, you guys.....guess what I saw outside my house lastnight????
A crackhead fight! Yeah! It was two females fighting each other and their boyfriends were doing that whole "male puffing of the chest" thing while yelling at eachother. The girls just went for it....they were on the ground slapping the shit out of each other. Then, the cops showed up and ruined all the fun.... Read More
PS.. if you have not been out this way it is probably not all that much worse than living by 82nd and the St Johns bridge is one of the most beautiful on the west coast. Same guy who did the Golden Gate in SF did the St Johns bridge a few years before the Golden Gate. They are very similiar in style.. except this one is smaller.
I am feeling pretty sad right now. Not really because of my own drama, (there's some, but not too much right now) more so on the behalf of others. I am very empathetic....I am easily affected my others' emotions. Like, at work, all of these families or adult students come in and most of them have no money and are just looking for a way... I'm in the CAN! Hahahahhahaha "bloggin" in the can. My job is going okay. The training is pretty much non-existant. I am not really learning anything other than all the office drama. People here are so strange. Not that people in Phoenix aren't total freaks, but it is a different type of freak here. I dunno. One of the students... Read More
