I neglect this blog. Not on purpose, mind you, but I do. I have a Self-Hosted Wordpress Blog that I try to update twice weekly with thought-provoking ideas on breaking social constructs and living more fulfilling lives, and a tumblr that I fill with all the miscellaneous nonsense that interests me.

And I'm expected to maintain a blog here, too?

Sometimes - and forgive me...

My photography is..... not happening right now. Unfortunately.

Ray Bradbury passed away this week. As I passively scrolled through my Facebook Newsfeed, ignoring much of the noise people tend to make about themselves, I was genuinely surprised to find that very few had anything to say on the subject. He was, arguably, one of the most influential and thought-provoking authors of our time. I'm not ashamed to say this: it's terrible and an...

Thanks, mentally I've already latched onto the idea of it, and I already sent it my resume. Now the waiting game :/

p.s. Last note on the above^. While I see where you're coming from with the e-book as a more eco-friendly alternative to the bound paper book, the nature of the electronic library opens up the possibility of an orwellian-style change of information, where at any point those who own and operate the system can link to your device and alter or completely remove any information/passages/whole stories or papers that they deem to be dangerous or undesirable.

In the end I got to spend a couple of hours at the party and then came back home and read a little bit before I crashed in bed, drunk lol.

It's been a year since Lightning in a Bottle 2011. This event changed my life in a very profound way. It affected me so much, I still wear the wristband I was given to attend the event last year. It now has a sister wristband/bracelet - I'll probably wear them both until they are no more. I head to the event later today and expect...

Musically, I'm all over the place. I started the day off listening to Paganini, my classical muse. Then I got Adventure Club stuck in my head, so I went on a YouTube dubstep hunt. Now I'm chillin' out to some Tricky. No complaints, I simply find that I am just as at home listening to one genre as any other. I have no idea if...

What am I doing with my life? This question has come up almost daily for the past month by someone different that I have spoken with. And just yesterday, I asked that question myself. The truth seems to be that no one really knows what were doing or where were headed; yet were all expected to have some idea of what were doing with our...
