Crazy day yesterday. I was running around doing errands when the first random thing came in. This amazingly hot girl I met at a wedding called me and we hooked up for lunch. A very enjoyable time that seems to be leading to more dates.
Then I got a call from my producer who had gotten tix to the Angels vs. Red Sox game. And not just any seats. The first row behind homeplate kind of seats where they serve you your food kind of seats. The only thing you have to do is walk to the bathroom. No lines, no bull, just baseball. My Sox got killed, but still a once in a lifetime experience.
Then to top it all off, an executive over at Warner Bros. Animation tracked me down through the Writer's Guild after apparently laughing heartily at multiple episodes of television that I've written for Nickelodeon. She's having me come in the first week of September to talk about bringing me on to do something with Scooby Doo for Warner Home Video.
Madness, I tells ya. In the meantime, I'm still nursing my back strain. It's mostly gone except for some sciatic pain on my right side. No worries, though. I'll get through it the way everyone does. With stretching and of course some pain killers. :-P
