I haven't really posted in a while. Living in Japan. Went on my first patrol a few months ago. Three and a half months at sea is nothing to sniff at.
Anyways, here's a few songs that I've been listening to lately. In no particular order and with no particular theme, just all songs I love.
Personally, I think this is one of the best songs Queen ever wrote. It's just so perfect, and it's a crime so few have heard of it.
I grew up listening to my dad and his cousins play this and other songs like it around the campfire nearly every weekend of every summer. Some of my favorite memories., and I know this song word for word without even thinking.
I've started getting into a bit of Japanese rock and metal, and exist†trace was kinda the gateway drug, if you will, for that exploration. This is one of my favorite songs of theirs, all they have a TON of good ones.
Karaoke bars are EVERYWHERE here, and this is on my short list of go to songs when I'm at that stage of the night where I want to sing.
If exist†trace was the gateway drug, then Gacharic Spin is my new drug of choice. They're all SO damn talented, and they always look like they're having such a good time performing. They're kickass and adorable at the same time.
Also, I may have a TINY crush on Hana, the drummer. Do you realize how hard it is to play the drums like that and sing at the same time? Not only is it a whole new level of multitasking, but keeping your voice steady while moving around that much is HARD! Plus, she's hot as hell. XD
