I guess if I nag Cadence to update her blogs, I should update mine.
A lot has happened.
On July 1st I left North Carolina permanently. I got on a plane and flew home to Rhode Island to start the next chapter in my life. I am now fully moved in with Cadence and getting ready for school in the fall at the University of Rhode Island. There I will be studying History & Education and working as a volunteer firefighter. My special thanks goes out to the Marine Corps League, and to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Together they awarded me 11,000 dollars for college.
I also spent the last two weeks of July in New York working as a lifeguard at a summer camp for children from NYC. It is a family affair. I was a head lifeguard, my older brother was the head cook, and forty years ago my father was a counselor at the same camp. As much as it killed me to be away from Cadence for so long, it always feels good to be at that camp, and to give a little something back for all the good things that have happened to me.
Cadence just did a guest spot on nullTalkRadioX with TylerHollywood. It was a great show and it was a blast listening to the two of them chatting. I want to thank Mr. Hollywood for his gracious words of thanks to all the men and women serving the United States. She's got a bunch of new stuff coming out soon or in the works so make sure you check out her stuff too. Well in all honesty you're probably just reading this because I was mentioned in her blog... so keep on supporting her.
Greetings and Good Tidings to "SG-ites" everywhere.

Glad you enjoyed the show! I had a blast having Cadence on and it was fun to know she had her friends and significant other listening in. It sound slike she really enjoyed herself and that's why I do this.
