Thanks again for the nice comments on my previous blog, love you guys!
It was another long week at work, and had quite a few Dante moments on Saturday. Many instances of me complaining and saying "I'm not even supposed to be here today!"
Couldn't believe the nerve of my boss on Saturday morning, when she complained about my hair and said "Are you getting it tidied up anytime soon, or are you keeping on growing it?", cheeky cow! Prior to today, I only had one day off in 13 days, how was I supposed to have arranged a haircut!?!
She's been getting really bitchy about the most pointless stuff lately and I'm getting pretty sick of it. It's like she's taking out her frustrations on me, because she's worried about going out of business.
Sometimes I feel like telling her to shove her stupid job up her arse!
The pay's not very good for the amount of responsibility I have, not to mention the amount of stress I'm under.
I don't need her griping at me for no good reason on top of that!
Met Mum and my stepdad for lunch on Saturday, which was terse to say the least. Mum was still a bit grumpy following her eruptions at the Mother's Day meal last weekend. She was under the impression that I wasn't getting any support on my studying from Michelle, and that she was advising me to give up studying.
I actually got a bit angry at this point, because Mum had completely misunderstood what Michelle said. She had been trying to reassure me as she knows how much I need another job. She said that I'd be able to apply for other jobs before I've finished my degree, as long as I'm up to HNC or HND standard. Major misunderstanding from Mum, it's like she only hears what she wants to hear, so that she can pick a fight with baseless accusations and half truths.
Don't think I'll be visiting her next weekend, as I don't need the extra stress on top of trying to get my next assessment started.
She doesn't realise how lucky she is... How many 31 year old married sons visit their Mums once a week? It's no wonder I get a migraine at the weekend, it's the stress of worrying what bitchy comments she's going to make...
Had a nice, relaxing Saturday evening, got a Chinese takeaway on the way home - beef chow mein, yum! Watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows as well. Seen it before, but got it on dvd the other week as Tesco had it cheap.
Had a very lazy day today, got up at the back of 10 and spent most of the day playing Assassin's Creed III, then watched Michelle playing Sleeping Dogs for a while, before she got bored. So I played Assassin's Creed again. I'm 37% complete now and have successfully reclaimed my first fort.
Not much else to say really, back to work tomorrow. Should hear if I'm back to normal hours or if I have to work another 6 day week. Fingers crossed it's back to normal hours.
Music share now:
Some random cosplay pics for a change.
That's about all for this blog, so I'll ask you to visit the following lovely ladies and leave them more love on their sets. Most are in member review, but there are a few who have had sets out for a while and haven't got 1000 comments yet. In my view, they all deserve at least 1000 comments!
