Hi SG land,

First of all, a big thanks for the nice comments on the last blog, love you guys!

As you can see I've changed my username again, this'll be the last time for a good while now, to avoid confusion.
I'd gotten bored of tigerlover and wanted to be something different and if possible Star Wars related. First name that sprang to mind was ScruffyLookingNerfHerder, but unfortunately this was far too long, so I had to settle for Nerf_Herder instead.

I'm having major problems with SG on my laptop. It runs at a snails pace and takes a while to load pages, takes forever to load a set and seems to refuse to play SG videos. Really not sure why it's doing that as it works at normal speed on any other site, but virtually grinds to a halt for SG. Can't work out why it's doing this and am getting really frustrated.

Bit of a boring week at work so far, though we've had a few really busy spells. Will be all alone at work for the next 3 days, as the optician's got to go to Inverness for a training course over Wednesday and Thursday, then it's her day off on Friday. Looking forward to having some peace at work and will hopefully get a good amount of singing at my desk done whenever there's no customers.

Preparations for my presentation that I have to post by the end of the week are going well so far, have had some fun using Audacity today and I think I'm getting the hang of that.

I'm hoping to make a video for posting here, just a bit of fun really. I've got the song downloaded and have decided to pay homage to a classic scene from an early 90's movie. That's all I'm saying about it for now.
The only problem I'm having - apart from finding time to make the video, is how to use the inbuilt webcam on my laptop. Whenever I click on the YouCam link, nothing happens. It doesn't open and it definitely doesn't switch on. Don't know what else to try, I've tried searching for webcam, but all it comes up with is YouCam...
If anyone could p m me with some advice, that would be awesome!

That's about it for now, I know I promised cosplay pics this time, but my piece of shit laptop's so slow that I don't have time to wait while it uploads pics right now. If it sorts itself out and returns to the right speed, I'll post more cosplay pics.
