Hi everyone,
As always, thanks for the comments on my last blog, love you all!
It's been a few days since my last blog, which is a rare thing for me, even when I have nothing to say. I've had a rough weekend and didn't feel up to blogging until now.
Woke up on saturday with a migraine (nowhere near as bad as the pain poor Jackie's in, but pretty bad anyways) that wouldn't shift until early afternoon. Then my regular pain kicked in for a few hours and around tea time my back became really sore and it's not let up much since. It's a straight line of pain up the middle of my spine, from my scar (where I had a mole removed, which never healed right) on my lower back to the middle of my back. Couldn't think of any reason for the pain and was certainly not fit enough for work, so went to the doctor and she couldn't find any reason for the pain either. She prescribed Cocodamol and has referred me for an x-ray, which I'll get done tomorrow. Doubtful I'll be back to work this week as it hurts to sit, stand and move about at the moment, so definitely not fit for work.
Apart from that, not done much over the weekend. Had the weekly visit to my parents on saturday and had a quiet night in with a beer and watched Quantum of Solace.
Sunday was uneventful, was too sore to do much, so lounged around on the sofa for most of the day. Played a little Assassin's Creed III until I got bored and gave the wife a go - she's still nowhere near 100% completion, though she finished the main story weeks ago. Caught up on The Walking Dead season 3 in the evening, looking forward to the rest of the season starting again in a week or two (they had a mid season break for Christmas).
Turns out I like spiders even less than my wife, which I didn't think was possible until she found a video on Pinterest of a spider trying to hide itself in some sand. The scraping motion with its 2 front legs was enough to give me a face that would suit Ron Weasley! Thankfully I didn't have any nightmares this time. Last time she made me watch a video like that I had a dream that a big spider was chasing me, so when she decided to snuggle and put her arm on me, I nearly leapt out of bed! I thought the spider had leapt on my back!
Not much else to say really, so I'll close this blog with some sexy cosplay pics. Enjoy!
