It has been a fair while since I've updated this little corner of my world... since my last few notes on here I've:
1: Planned a trip home in the beginning of October... I'm going to spend a week driving, it is goign to be so nice. A new addition at the house of another Lotus, a 2002 silver V8 twin turbo Esprit. So we are up to 4, between my father and I. Some work has been done on my car back home as well, new tail lights, some touchup on the few rock chips in the fiberglass up front, and soon to be redone front suspension hopefully.
2: I wend to see Medeski, Martin, & Wood at the Moore in Seattle, what a fucking amazing show... jam jazz at its best with some great music. Some interesting people like the crazy dancing, pot smoking, chocolate chip cookie handing out dude in the aisle next to me but it was all good. I'm not one to dance much but even I really got into the show. Fucking amazing shit and Chris Wood knows how to play a standup bass better than anyone I've seen.
3: Go Jimmy Go and The Hold Steady on tour in October through the area, woot more shows!
4: Worked my FUCKING ASS OFF!
That's about it, getting out a bit more but still not really clicking or meeting a ton of people. I've been reading alot, including one book that was REALLY damn good... The Traveler by John Twelve Hawks. Go read it, a very brilliant work.
