Seattle called me back... they really want me up there... I've been offered a position in the pay structure I want... factoring cost of living changes is is roughly a 13 to 15% raise...
I fly up to Seattle next thursday and my interviews start on Friday in the afternoon!!!

Well, today at 1 pm I had the first interview for that job up in Seattle... a phone interview with 3 managers from the main office...
I think it went' good... not super, but not average or bad either... considering it as a phone interview... about 40 minutes.

I'm not sure what angle I am going to take on my dissertation yet. I still have so much research to do. I find Russia and Chechnya fascinating though, and so at least it will keep my interest! It's going to be really tough as I know a lot of Chechen terrorist attacks have been exagerated by the Russian press for propaganda, but at the same time.. that doesn't justify them. Hmm.. alot of research will be required!
