I love how random and in sync the world is. I was on slashdot.org just browsing a story about google registering domain names like gbrowser.com and what it meant and came across one user comment that had a signature that went thusly: "Fungi seeks fungal for cross-cultural experience." This in itself has enough humour to fill me with chuckles for days, however I thought i'd track down the origin of the quote/joke.
Using firefox's wicked "search for..." function I zoomed to the results, clicked on the first result on the list to find myself in a pj harvey forum in a thread where people are telling jokes. One of those being was the Fungi joke. Which happened to be told by a member called Nemo, which happens to be my real-world tm name. I find it amusing even if no-one else does.
I just love coincidences and patterns, shapes in chaos. try watching a pan of boiling rice, watch the convection currents forming beautifully geometrical patterns that cover the water like those of an liquid bee. The world is a weird, weird place. and i love it.
