Easter Memories
Well we all know what easter is about, and how ludicrus it is that some bunny poops eggs for kids to find as we celebrate Jesus's death and rebirth. Im not a devout religious person, but it just doesnt make sense. Although I do enjoy hard boiled eggs and candy, I guess I wont complain too much.
Day One: Saturday was cold and wet
Well to start off my easter weekend, my dad called me the night before and asked if I would help him move his stuff from his old place. I of course offered my help, plus he said he would pay me. In the morning he finally came and we made our way to Liberty Lake to grab the stuff, we didnt have just any little thing to move with, we have a 20ft U-Haul. We get there and then I remember the last time I moved his stuff and how much there was. It started to rain and we worked for a good 4 hours loading this U-Haul. Items loaded included a professionally build Chevy 350, transmission and rear axel. To make the experience more weird, we were picking the stuff up from my dads old GF's house. Shes a nice woman, and much younger than him, being 29 and my dad 46. She was crying and sad, and well that made it weird. My dad hasnt told her that hes already engaged with his new GF, when she does, she might be even more livid+sad. I think my dad is waiting till he gets his harley and sidecar from her place before he unloads that on her.
Day Two: Muddy Easter Sunday - Part One
Well we had decided to unload the U-Haul the next day because it was late and we were all tired. So when we got there in the morning, we played a game of Life on the old Playstation. My cousin won, and I was 3rd place...I suck. Was fun though, my cousin and dads fiance were passing joints while playing as they usually do when we come to hang out. After we got some toast for breakfast we headed off to finish out task. Well what happened next was quite comedic but as well scary as we didnt know what the fuck to do. My dad was driving on a somewhat small road in Medical Lake, and it had been raining for two days now. This big U-Haul decided to put one tire just off the pavement into the side of the road. All my dad could do was try to stop because the two right side tires sunk in to the mud, axels hitting the pavement. It was almost ready to tip over, and damn it looked funny. We had to get a big backhoe to pull it out, lucky that my dad works for a construction company. He also opted out of getting the $14 insurance that would have covered something like that haha.
Day Two: Muddy Easter Sunday - Part Two
After we took care of that whole problem, we got some stuff unloaded at our uncles house, we then had to unload the rest at my dads storage unit. Again it had been raining for two days straight, and well guess what right were the storage unit was located was a 15 foot round puddle about half a foot deep. We had to get creative and position the pull out ramp so that we werent stepping in the puddle or slipping down it. My cousin and I decided we really didnt want to do this for very long and whipped it out in 2 hours time. My dad had left to go do some easter festivities with his fiance, and we were supposed to call him when we were done. Well he forgot his phone in the U-Haul, and didnt give us the code to get out of the storage facility. We had to wait for someone to let us out, and then find my dad. After all that fun, I finally got home, then proceeded to my moms where she had Easter dinner prepared. So it wasnt all bad, and I had fun, but boy am I sore and sure as hell my dad better not move any time soon!

That is really sad especially when you are so attached to an animal. my kitty got some freakish disease from an infested cat and we had to kill her because she couldn't function normally. she couldn't walk, hear and chances are she could no longer see. it was terrible to see her in that condition, but i would rather see her dead than living in agony.
