I was just looking at my profile, at all the colors and shapes and the design(BTW SG site designers, you rock, love it!!!), and I realized, I look sexy in pink!
Well believe it or not, that leads into my great adventure last night.
I was on the way to work, I drove past two cops that had pulled someone over, I pay them no mind, I haven't done anything wrong that I know of. I start to turn onto a back street going towards where I work and I notice a car come up on me fast. Then I realized, it was a cop. Again, I knew I hadn't done anything wrong, so I keep on driving the same as usual. The cop is right on me, I knew he was looking for a reason to pull me over, and right as I started to turn into where I work, he turns on his lights.
I stop and he comes up, I give him my stuff, and then he drops a bomb shell on me. He pulled me over, not because I was speeding, not because I suck at driving, hell not because my cars ugly, but because there was a warrant out for me...a WARRANT?!!!!
He explained the time and the charge, and I was familiar with the charge, but I thought I had taken care of it with the DA at the time. Guess I was wrong on all counts. Now this could have gone many ways, I could have been all Mr. Im gonna kick your ass, or defensive...but I don't know, Im a nice guy, and as much as I don't like cops, there are other things more important than my ego. Surprisingly the cop was more than nice and explained that since it was a small misdemeanor that most likely what would happen is I would be booked and then released.
I would go on how bad it was down at the police station, like the fact that the shorts I had on were second hand from Value Village and about 4 sizes too big even for me. I had my pants taken in a few inches with safety pins, which if you could guess is not something they would let me keep on me while in the station. So I had the pleasure of being searched and doing paperwork while my oversized balloon man big pants kept trying to fall off my ass. It was great fun I tell you, but I learned that the cops weren't that bad, they didn't treat me like I was a criminal or scum, aside from their rules and regulations, they tried their best to accommodate me. I felt well handled, and so did my boys when they had to get up close and personal while searching.
All told, I was delayed from work by 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not to bad when you consider that I had been arrested, searched, booked and released all that night. It sure made the fact that I spilled my dinner earlier down the front of myself seem like a minor thing. Maybe I should get arrested more.
And that is why I look good in pink!
